About MeMe Myatt

Raised in the city of Inglewood, CA, MeMe Myatt’s access to music education was limited, due to nonexistent music programs in public schools. For that reason, she created her own outlet -- practicing daily to the tunes and technique of legendary artists, such as Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell and more; she eventually added private lessons to her regimen. With hopes of providing others with what she had limited access to, MeMe went on to earn a degree in Music Education from the Berklee College of Music.

She has worked as a private lesson instructor for various companies in Los Angeles and Atlanta, and most recently as an elementary school music teacher for the DeKalb County School District in Georgia. MeMe has also made a name for herself, as a jazz and soul singer, within her hometown, various U.S. cities, and overseas, while also releasing two EPs ("Defined" and "Caution: Love"), which showcase her artistry as a songwriter and producer.
